Right down to the Dirty Turnips, with 459,000 Bells in Pocket I went frantically looking for my friend Daisy Mae.

I always feel the heavy burden that comes with having to make multiple trips, I am paying out big and the Turnip prices weren’t that great for buying this time around. But I have bravery, perseverance, chutzpah!

For those who don’t know the rules you can find them here. For those who do, you know that 108 Bells means that I am only allowed to sell if the price is at least 216 Bells minimum. I have 4250 Turnips in my current possession. Hopefully I can make another big sale this week!

Noticed some great news on the Bulletin Board today! I’ll be able to participate in my very first bug-off soon! I’ll make sure it gets the hard work and dedication it deserves! (Hopefully my Real world job won’t interfere but we’ll see what happens).

After all was said and done I did what I always do and headed down to Harvey’s. Ready and able for today’s Wedding Season Event requirements.

I like the pictures more when they are doing some sort of emotion, even though I forget to do it often. Give the photos much more life and happiness.

The day started off with a lovely Letter from Renée, it was something small that I didn’t know I needed until I saw it. Sometimes this game can just make your heart melt. I did immediately send her a little something in the mail, and paid her an in person visit just to make sure she was okay.

Renée may have been fine when I checked in on her, but while I was doing my rounds I stumbled across a villager who wasn’t as lucky!

Saharah was also on my Island today, I find she comes by the most often of the rotating visitors. I’d love to see more Label and Redd.

Then with further inspection of my island I found out some even more exciting news. One of my villagers has finally decided to move! Now out of all the ones I wanted gone I’m a bit upset that I had to make a hasty decision on an undecided Villager, but Mint came up as my moving out option and as much as I have loved my time with her. I have other fish to fry. I wish the options weren’t so hard core, I am honestly sad to see her go.

You will stay in our hearts forever! Don’t forget that you can check out any Story Time’s Mint has been in since her arrival on the island, right in the Meet The Villagers section of the site. May she live on forever as a glorious Sirenity Alumni!

With my excitement meter at the max I went and did what I do best, repetitive nonsense. Yet I love it. Laugh with Reese, Cyrus, and I! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Gulliver, I do not know how or why you always end up places like this, but I do not think it’s very healthy. Maybe you need to live a less adventurous lifestyle, stay here, on the Island and Relax.

You always remind me how I legitimately wish I could be a pirate. Like old school sea adventurer pirate, not like nowadays pirates.

Today was a lot busier than today’s entry will really put it out to be. Since I am going back to work I wanted to get ahead on a couple of things so I spent a lot of my time today filming and photographing stuff for the blog Tidbits, and Look Books. As well as work on some new Patreon Exclusive content (You can check out here, if you are interested). But the only thing I have left to share for here is the photo from today’s visit with the Lovely couple. So here you go!

June 24, 2020

Today was exhausting but I got through it all despite the bumps along the way. It was nice to see my Turnip prices looking better my morning prices were 105, and then my evening prices went up again to 140!

I spent most of the day doing a Villager Hunt to replace our dearest Mint, it ended up being the longest part of my day. If you want to see the play by play of the Villager Hunt is was a Wild Friday post you can look at here.

There was some things I was able to finish before or periodically during the hunt though. Like of course the Wedding Season Event!

I also managed to put my detective skills to work again to return a lost item to it’s rightful owner!

And of course the last possible thing I will share for today’s entry is the Villager reveal if you haven’t read the other post already! Welcome to Sirenity, our dear new Villager: Ketchup!

Although not a character who I was planning as a permanent villager on the island but it has now been decided otherwise. We now how 4/10 Permanent spots filled here on the Island of Sirenity. Ellie, Renée, Reneigh, and now Ketchup.

A Warm Welcome again to Ketchup!

As much as I wanted the first thing I did when I got on this morning to be having a welcome chat with Ketchup it had to wait a tick when I saw the campsite notification pop up before me. After my experience the day before I see the campsite now in a whole new life, it was a frequent opportunity to have a chance at forgoing the stress that is Villager Hunting. Maybe it might have been easier if I wasn’t solely stuck to a handheld but that’s just how my cookie crumbles.

Unfortunately today was a miss, I have zero interest in O’Hare. But I am now looking forward to the next campers arrival more than I ever have been before. As soon as I finished up there I finally headed to Ketchup’s.

Just a reminder that the biggest reason I decided to get Ketchup was because I am a Canadian. With Canada comes Ketchup chips which I LOVE, so nothing feels more Canadian than having Ketchup on my Island.

I already can’t wait to see what her indoor furnishings are going to look like as I am getting some earthy vibes just from her wallpaper and carpet alone.

Kicks also happened to be in town today he didn’t have anything too fancy this time around. I kinda wish he carried just a little more product with him. It feels like there are hardly any good options.

Alright so my own Bell prices were still on the up and up I had 145 this morning and then 180 this afternoon, but a Nintendo Online friend of mine happened to have a bell boom of 525 Bells!

Not only were they nice enough to let me make two trips to their island to cash in like a Turnip Mogul, they had also already stopped by earlier in the day and gifted me a throwback race-car bed variant I needed. If you read this THANK YOU AGAIN! So let’s do the math then, I bought 4250 Turnips with 459,000 Bells, I then sold those 4250 Bells at 525 Bells a pop, for a value of 2,231,250 Bells. Which means not only did I break my goal of A MILLION BELL PROFIT on the third week at trying, I OBLITERATED IT WITH A PROFIT OF 1,772,250 BELLS! I have never felt prouder or more fulfilled. Or more lost in what to do with Turnips now. I could ideally just try it all again maybe aim for an even bigger goal but I think for now I am going to take a week off from the Turnip market (Unless Daisy Mae has REALLY good prices). I did use the profits to pay off the last of the debt I owe to Nook. So now it’s all just moving money!

I was so exhausted after yesterday I almost didn’t even have the energy to do the Wedding Event today, but later on when my friend Tia came for a visit since they had missed the bell boom our other friend had during a nap. Since my turnips were still a relatively nice 180 Tia sold the Turnips they had remaining in Sirenity. Having to be on anyways to help out a friend was the extra little push I needed to at least just get it done, even if it was just quick and sloppy.

It started out with an interesting letter from Peggy. I loved how it she started the letter off “Story time, chief!”. I always loved me a good Story Time. I spent a lot of time on the Island again today, but it was much more easy-going. I am starting to rearrange things on my island again and adding some new features like a Drive-In and a Temple, I’m also putting a little more investment into my campsite for an Animal Crossing Sleepover I want to plan.

Nothing is really complete yet so I won’t be sharing any of the works in progress, but I think that’ll make it so much better once I actually finish it and show it all off. So the last thing I will show you is the Wedding Season Event with the third week of this finished, I am not so enthused with it anymore that it for sure.

Today was my very first tourney and the very first of Animal Crossing’s Bug Tourney’s! I am not going to go into too much detail but not because it wasn’t great. I will say it was a pretty amazing event, it was fast paced and both competitive yet team work oriented.

I loved learning all the little helpful hints to rack up points, and the benefits that came with playing with friends. I will be making a post soon dedicated to what happened at my first tourney so look forward to that on Wednesday! As this coming week’s Tidbit for the week! This did take up most of my day but I managed to sink just enough time into doing yet another Wedding Season Event photo.
